The Watchtower
Library (2007) CD lists the phrase "the time is near" 57 times, of
which 55 apply to Armageddon or the paradise afterwards.
For example:
…the
time is near at hand for Jehovah’s own great wrath to come upon the
earth…

If it is his
purpose to have this beautification of the whole earth accomplished by
the end of his seventh creative day—Scripturally a period of seven
thousand years, then the time is near at hand for the ruining

from 1970.
New converts to JWs fail to discern or heed Jesus' command "Do
not go after them" in Luke 21:8 because the JW Bible says "the due
time has
approached."
